Romanian GPeC started the 2018 edition
The organizers of GPeC announced the start of the 2018 series of events (the online stores competition and the series of conferences). For 13 years, GPeC is considered the most important series of E-Commerce and online marketing events in Romania and Eastern Europe. The 2018 edition started with the launch of the call for entries for the GPeC competition and the first information on the GPeC Summit, event scheduled to take place in Bucharest on May 29-31.
The online stores competition part of GPeC sees over 25 experts in e-commerce and online marketing – the members of the GPeC Competition’s jury – auditing the online stores entered in the contest, considering over 200 essential criteria for an online business. Each store entered in the competition receives an individual and confidential audit report following the evaluation, with achieved score and recommendations made by the jury.
The online stores choosing to enter GPeC competition will receive all the needed resources, best practices examples and steps to do to be in conformity with the GDPR standards, according to EU rules that start producing effects on May 25th.
The entry fee for GPeC competition starts from €299 plus VAT and can reach to €559 plus VAT for the biggest package, which includes also conformity to GDPR standards and 3 access tickets to GPeC Summit (offer available for early bird period, until May 11).
GPeC Summit will bring together renown speakers, among which already confirmed are:
- Peep Laja (Founder & CEO ConversionXL)
- Jeff Bullas – Content Marketing Influencer
- Karl Gilis (Co-Founder AG Consult)

During the summit, Karl Gilis and Jeff Sauer will each host master classes. To attend their master classes, the early bird price for tickets is €99 plus VAT and €149 plus VAT after April 20th.
If I would resume GPeC events in a few words, I would say 360 degree e-commerce and online marketing, 12 months a year – because we are dedicating our time to the e-commerce industry through activities meant to contribute to the development of online stores and of the entire market: besides the GPeC competition, that runs for 8 months a year, following are E-Commerce Summer School, GPeC Trainings, GPeC Summit November, eCommerce Awards Gala November and the GPeC and DallesGo classes, which take place during the entire year
