Revolut, that recently attracted Serie C investments worth $250M, recruited Irina Scarlat, former Lead Marketing Manager Uber, to handle its operations in Romania from the position of Country Manager.
The main objective of the local team that Scarlat will head will be to attract 100,000 by the end of the year and to create a banking revolution in Romania. In present, 25,000 Romanians are already using Revolut.

Besides her experience and abilities, Irina also impressed us with her attitude: she has the determination and entrepreneurial mentality we are looking for and we are convinced that it is an advantage to have her in our team. We reached 25,000 users in Romania without making any marketing investments and we trust we can reach 100,000 by the end of the year, with help from Irina and the local team
