Newly launched in Romania, Revolut offers local users their first free card
After announcing its launch on Romanian market, Revolut announced it offers to its Romanian users their first free card. As a service, Revolut helps users to control their money better, via payments notifications, integrated budgeting tools and the option to spend money without hidden taxes or fees, anywhere in the world.
In Romania, Revolut’s new users can order their first physical free card until May 31st. Revolut started its official presence on Romanian market with 30,000 users and aims to reach 100,000 by the end of the year. The existent Romanian Revolut users made until now over 450,000 transaction with a total worth of 15M USD. Most users are located in Bucharest and Cluj, Timisoara, Iasi and Brasov. The average age of the Romanian Revolut user is 33 y.o. and the main businesses they buy from are Uber, Aliexpress, McDonald’s and Carrefour.
Besides offering the option to get a free card by the end of May, Revolut also introduced for its Romanian users the option to buy, own and sell cryptocurrencies .
