Groupama chose Profero for its social media communication

Groupama, one of the biggest insurance operators in Romania, selected the agency Profero for the coordination of its communication in social media. After winning the pitch, the digital agency will handle Groupama Asigurari’s account on Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and YouTube, where it will promote the products, campaigns, as well as company’s corporate activities.

We offer a great deal of importance to our social media presence because it’s the channel in which we feel the public the closest to us and we can connect directly to its needs,preferences, but also to its feedback. Profero’s creative proposals, as well as the agency’s experience in handling some accounts appreciated by the public convinced us that it’s the partner we want for a relevant and memorable interaction with our audience in social media,” said Georgiana Miron, Marketing and Communication director, Groupama Asigurari.

A new pitch, a new insured client. The brief challenged us to develop a complex social media strategy though which to support Groupama’s values related to proximity, responsibility and solidarity towards its clients, at the same time helping the brand differentiate itself in the financial-banking marking. Moreover, the communication for the social media channels will have a strong educational component, offering in a creative and friendly manner correct information about the quality standards in insurance,” said Andreea Dinescu, Managing Director, Profero.

Groupama Asigurari, present for almost 10 years in the Romanian market, has over 1 million individual clients and over 67.000 companies in its portfolio. In the communication activities the company already collaborates with other agencies in the Lowe group – Golin, Initiative and MullenLowe.

Groupama’s marketing and communication team was formed of: Georgiana Miron (Marketing and Communication Director), Roxana Bursuc (Web Communication Coordinator), Andrei Mehedintu (Public Relations Specialist).

The Profero team: Cristina Moise (Social Media Manager), Alexandra Ion (Social Media Executive), Diana Dalimon (Junior Art Director), Daniel Secatureanu (Junior Copywriter), Ovidiu Popa (Account Director), Damian Nuñez (Chief Creative Officer).
