Lürzer’s Grand Slam 2019 is open for entries until 31st January
Lürzer’s Grand Slam celebrates ground-breaking ideas, as well as rewarding them with real value: cash. Washington Olivetto, Brazilian advertising legend and creative consultant at McCann Europe, will be heading the jury.
Lürzer’s Archive, daily creative resource for advertising professionals worldwide, has opened the doors to the 2nd edition of Lürzer’s Grand Slam, the only international awardshow rewarding winning work with real value, i.e. cash. Lürzer’s Grand Slam 2019 comes with a couple of category changes that will allow submitters more possibilities to enter work in the following groups: Film, Print & Outdoor, Digital, Promotion & Activation, Audio & Sound, Photography, Campaign. The deadline for entries to Lürzer’s Grand Slam is 31st January, 2019. However, anyone who submits their work by 18th January at the latest will only pay 390 Euros instead of 450 Euros per submission.
Lürzer’s Grand Slam celebrates and applauds ground-breaking ideas, as well as rewarding them with something of real value: 60 percent of all the entry fees go directly to the winners! And: Lürzer’s Grand Slam is absolutely transparent about the earnings from submissions. Silver winners receive two times higher prize money than bronze winners, while gold winners receive three times higher prize money than silver winners. Plus, all entrants who submit work to Lürzer’s Grand Slam will get a free Lürzer’s Archive subscription for one year. To enter the competition the submissions must have been aired anytime between 1st January, 2017 and 31st December, 2018.
Lürzer’s Archive has put together a high-caliber international jury for Lürzer’s Grand Slam 2019. Advertising icon Washington Olivetto, creative consultant at McCann Europe, is heading the jury as president. The popular and influential Brazilian is one of the most awarded advertising men of all times. Olivetto has won more than 50 Lions at the Cannes Lions in the film competition only. He was also the only Latin American to win a Grand Clio at the Clio Awards. Olivetto was appointed one of the 25 key-advertising men in the world by the British Magazine Media International and was elected twice the Advertising Man of the Century by ALAP (Latin American Advertising Agencies Association) and by the Brazilian advertising news website Monitor Mercantil. In 2009, he entered the Hall of Fame of Ibero-American Advertising Festival (FIAP).
