IAA Romania’s educational program has a new leader, Afrodita Blasius
AcademIAA, an educational program dedicated to the university environment developed by IAA Romania, has a new Programs Director, Afrodita Blasius. A founder and professor at IAA School, Afrodita took over the position starting September 1st.
Afrodita Blasius spent the last 25 years in entrepreneurship, marketing or advertising, and was constantly one of IAA Romania’s advisors when it came of projects dedicated to education and development of the industry. During the last decade, besides the IAA School experience, Afrodita also accumulated teaching experience in the academic environment, by teaching marketing and communication at SNSPA and FJSC.
I am tied to Afrodita by many memories and beautiful professional achievements, especially in IAA Romania’s context. Afrodita is part of the team that founded and is coordinating IAA School, maybe the most important project we have towards building the future of the industry.
She was and always is close to the association: as member of IAA Board for two terms, collaborator and adviser in different other projects or as simple close person to the association, from which we receive some of the most vivid and actionable feedbacks.
I thank her for accepting the not-at-all simple challenge to raise AcademIAA – another project that aims for shape up the future of the industry – , and I promise her all my support and the support of the executive team
Victor Dobre,
Executive Director IAA Romania
I love learning (formal or informal) and that is why I couldn’t stay away from any IAA educational program. And that includes this one, which aims to build a bridge between the business and academic environments. I wish those two worlds could function in symbiosis during the next years. It is a projects that injects you with energy and emotion brought by our project’s academic team, so I can hardly wait to build further together
Afrodita Blasius,
Programs Director AcademIAA
In the future, AcademIAA aims to extend the partnership in new directions of interest both for the industry and for the academic environment: internships for students and master students within IAA member companies, collaborations in order to update the academic curriculae in specialized domains, soft skills developing programs and in-depth studies related to the needs of the marcom industry.
