Evensys organizes Podfest, the 1st conference in Romania about podcasts
Podcasts are now one of the most appreciated forms of content by a more and more numerous audience. It is estimated that, in the start of 2020, there were active around 850,000 – 1M podcasts at international level. In Romania, there are a few hundreds at this moment, with increased interest from content creators and brands.
Podcasts are around since the beginning of blogging, 14-15 years ago. The niche grew slowly and healthy over the entire period. In the last years, podcasts became a mass phenomena, due to the public interested in long form content, to the distribution platforms – including Spotify and YouTube – and content consumption on mobile devices.
Podcasts became, in the same time, part of ad strategies and a new content distribution channel for media organizations or even a communication and promo channels for brands, who launched their own podcasts.
As it follows for 14 years the trends in social media, Evensys organizes, on July 8th, Podfest Conference, the first conference dedicated to podcasts in Romania, which will bring in the same place online podcasts, communication people, journalists and specialists from marketing and communication agencies.
Among the speakers at the 1st Podfest are: Andreea Esca, Andreea Rosca (The Vast & The Curious), Dragos Stanca (Thinkdigital), Monica Jitariuc (MSL The Practice), Claudiu Pandaru (Republica), Robert Katai (Bannersnack), Sergiu Mircea (Banca Transilvania), Nicoleta Deliu (BCR), Silvia Mihailescu (ING Romania), Corina Vasile (Rasiffeisen Bank), Marian Hurducas (Necktie Agency), Alex Ciuca (Superior Media) etc.
Participation to the event is free, with places available for booking on www.podfest.ro. Podfest Romania is organized by Evensys in partnership with Banca Transilvania, BCR, ING Romania, Raiffeisen Bank Romania, Vodafone Romania and support from Radio Guerrilla.
After a first online event in the end of June, Evensys is continuing the e-conference series with a special approach. Each event combines the on-stage experience from a classical conference with the live interventions from a TV studio. This format respects the social distancing and safety norms of all people involved, from staff to speakers and partners. All those measures are part of the new concept, Contactless Conference.
