Q-83 appoints Chris Henley to Lead UK and European Sales
Following the launch of two new products, Kitly and Kitly Business, Q-83, the influencer MarTech startup, has announced the appointment of Chris Henley as Head of Sales and Partnerships for the UK and Europe. Chris will lead the sales operations and growth strategy for Q-83 within these regions as the start-up expands its offering, providing talent and collaboration management solutions to some of the world’s leading talent, media, PR and creative agencies.
After a strategic commercial partnership with News UK in December 2019, which also owns full service influencer marketing agency, The FIFTH, Q-83 has released its first mobile app for talent, Kitly, and expanded on its agency offering with a new look Kitly Business. Chris joins the team at a pivotal point in Q-83’s growth, following his successful role as Sales and Partnerships Manager at The Influencer Marketing Show and The Influencer Marketing Awards, where he helped found the Show in 2017 and contributed to its growth of over 60 exhibitors and 3000 attendees in 2019. His success increased the show financially by 93% which led to the launch of a New York show.
Chris will be reporting to Anthony Richardson, Managing Director and Founder of Q-83. In his role he will be responsible for generating revenue from agencies and brands within the UK and across Europe. Chris will play a critical role in the future success of the business.
Chris brings a number of years’ experience to the business, previously working closely with brands such as NordVPN, Marks & Spencer, Stella McCartney, and Beano as well as a number of traditional full-service agencies including PHD, Mediacom, Publicis and MSL.
Chris Henley, Head of Sales and Partnerships for the UK and Europe, Q-83 said: “I’m incredibly excited to be working with the innovative team at Q-83 and can’t wait to show what we have to offer to creators, brands and agencies alike. Q-83’s technology offers something very unique in comparison to the vast majority of platforms within the industry and will assist the whole ecosystem in professionalising this industry. It’s a brilliant opportunity to be working with a company that pays so much attention to the creators out there. Without them, this industry would inevitably not exist.”
Anthony Richardson, Managing Director and Founder of Q-83 said: “We’re very excited to have Chris join our team. I have worked directly with Chris in his role at The Influencer Marketing Show over the past two years. Chris is an extremely well-known and respected figure within the influencer marketing industry and I know his experience will help accelerate our growth in Europe. I look forward to working with Chris during this significant time in the company’s growth.”
