Confident Communications handles corporate and brand comm for Anchor Grup in Romania

Starting June, Confident Communications took over the corporate and brand communications for Anchor Grup, one of the most important real estate developers in Romania.

The Confident team will manage the communication for the three investment lines the company holds in Romania: Retail – Bucharest Mall-Vitan and Plaza Romania; Residential – InCity Residences, Pallady Towers and Select Residences; Office buildings – Anchor Plaza, Plaza Romania Offices and Metropol Plaza.

The agency was chosen to manage the communication of Anchor Group following a pitch organized by the company at the beginning of 2021.

Founded in 2011, Confident Communications consists of: Confident PR, an agency specializing in marketing communication for key industries – tech, real estate, healthcare, automotive and B2B and Venus Five Studio, a division specializing in photo, video, podcast production and livestreaming services.

In 2020, Confident Communications won the Small Consultancy of the Year award at the PR Award Gala, and the company’s tech projects were shortlisted at Eventiada, the largest competition of the PR industry in Eastern Europe, CIS and Central Asia, a regional partner of the IPRA Golden World Awards.

Anchor Grup is one of the most powerful real estate developers on the local market, Anchor Grup started its activity in Romania more than two decades ago. Since then, the company’s investment has exceeded 500 million euros. Its portfolio includes a retail component: Anchor Grup has developed the first modern shopping centers in Romania, Bucharest Mall – Vitan, followed by Plaza Romania. Anchor Grup also opened the Movieplex cinema, which offered Romanians for the first time the opportunity to watch 3D format movies.

In addition, Anchor Grup’s investments in recent years also targeted the residential sector. The first project was InCity Residences, which includes over 500 apartments in four blocks. The second completed residential project is Pallady Towers, which has over 200 apartments in two buildings. Currently, the developer focuses on the Select Residences complex – with over 300 apartments in three buildings.

Anchor Grup’s portfolio also includes office buildings: Anchor Plaza, which has a 100% occupancy rate, Plaza România Offices and, respectively, Metropol Plaza, which is still under construction.
