Cavai appoints Attique Rehman as Group Agency Director
Cavai the leading conversational advertising cloud, today announces the appointment of Attique Rehman who joins the business as Group Agency Director.
Attique was most recently Creative Strategy Partner at The Telegraph. Prior to this, he held senior roles at organisations such as ITV, eBay and Reed Business Information.
Cavai has built the world’s leading global conversational advertising cloud, working closely with brands, publishers and agencies to enable conversational experiences which boost audience engagement – with clients experiencing massively increased ROI thanks to these non-interruptive ad formats which enable two-way dialogue.
Attique comments:
“Conversational advertising is one of the few unexplored territories in media. There is so much potential for brands to boost engagement and connections with their audiences. My goal will be to introduce agencies to Cavai’s unique offer, to help clients understand its value, and to educate the wider industry on how conversational advertising can offer the ultimate in insight, attention and engagement; especially when compared to other, more standard formats.”
Ed Preedy, Chief Revenue Officer at Cavai, adds:
“I have no doubt that Attique will help us to deliver optimal experiences that boost engagement for a variety of brands. With his energy, professionalism, attention to detail, and work ethic, Attique will be an asset to the team. His ability to build rapport with everyone around him is matched only by his awareness of the media landscape and the importance of creativity in campaigns.”
The news of this hire comes hot on the heels of the announcement that Cavai has raised over £6.5million to drive significant international expansion, as its privacy-by-design conversational advertising and in-ad ecommerce functionality is recognised by growing numbers globally.
Cavai was founded in Oslo in 2018 and now has over 60 employees globally. As the company continues its global expansion, it is developing next-generation, user-centric marketing solutions which enable one-to-one dialogue with consumers across a variety of formats, including video. Cavai will also be launching conversational ecommerce solutions which will integrate with local payment solutions providers and enable in-ad purchases.
As marketers move away from interruptive formats and seek privacy-by-design solutions to personalise communications and generate insights, conversational formats have helped Cavai’s clients to stand out from the competition and drive ROI whilst enabling true interactivity and bringing humanity to brand communications.
