Emmy Award Winner Eugene Levy Stars in a Humorous New Spot for NICE CXone
To meet the constantly rising customer expectations, digital cloud platform NICE promotes its next generation customer experiences with a new innovative global campaign. To bring the spots to life NICE turned to McCann, who teamed up with Cosmo Street Editorial and creative studio Nice Shoes.
Starring Emmy Award Winner Eugene Levy (co-creator and star of hit comedy series Schitt’s Creek), the campaign promotes CXone as the only true next-gen cloud CX platform through a series of humorous ads.
To inspire businesses to focus on creating extraordinary customer experiences, the advert leans on Levy’s comedic talent. The four 100” spots unveil a variety of scenarios which highlight the campaign’s tagline that ‘almost is just not good enough’. The fun and engaging ad shows Levy in four different situations where he becomes a witness of consumers’ predicaments.
Nice Shoes’ senior colourist Chris Ryan graded the spots.
“The goal was to keep the look of the spots unified. As all four films were shot in different locations, we wanted to make sure that they all felt like part of the same campaign. We made sure that everything looked great without getting too slick, keeping consistency throughout all films. Using Baselight’s blending tools, we kept a coherent look for the actor’s face throughout all four spots, without having to sacrifice the feel of each location.
Due to scheduling issues the ‘Navigation’ spot was shot at night, but for the purposes of the story it needed to be set during the day. We graded the scenes to make them feel as if they were lit by the sun and then used some outtakes of wide shots taken earlier in the day to create elements to use outside the windows of the car they were sitting in” says Chris Ryan.
