Dentsu appoints its first new creative director for Southeast Europe
Marketing communications group dentsu marks the reinforcement of its creative service line by the appointment of Marius Tianu as the new Creative Director for dentsu Southeast Europe.
Reporting to dentsu Southeast Europe CEO Maria Grachnova, Tianu will join the regional Executive Team and local management team in Romania. As the agency with the most integrated service in Southeast Europe with media and creative service linking together, dentsu is focusing with Tianu on its best talent, creative expertise, and conceptual approach to ramp up the creative output in the Southeast region.
Tianu is an award-winning creative executive who brings years of experience, spanning from branding and advertising to all things marketing. He has driven development for most significant local, regional, and global brands and digital experiences, working in various advertising agencies such as Saatchi & Saatchi, Scala JWT, Graffiti BBDO, Centrade-Cheil, and Mullen-Lowe. Throughout his career, he has received awards at Cannes Lions, NY Festival, The One Show, Golden Drum, and London International Awards.

Dentsu Southeast Europe is also intensifying its own marketing and communication function across its 10 markets, welcoming Daniela Balaei to a new role as Marketing and Communication Manager for Southeast Europe.
A highly experienced professional in Communications and Marketing, Balaei has a vast area of marcomm expertise working in various industries such as media, banking, retail, real estate, and education. She has more than ten years’ experience in marketing television, for example launching Euforia TV on the market.
Balaei will join the regional Executive Team and the local management team in Romania.
