The 10 Group appoints former Wunderman Thompson CEO Tamara Ingram as first chairwoman
Integrated communications and content agency, The 10 Group, today announces the appointment of industry stalwart Tamara Ingram OBE as the company’s first ever chairwoman.
With over four decades of experience at the helm of some of advertising’s most prestigious agencies, Ingram joins from her former role as non-exec chair of Wunderman Thompson, where she previously acted as CEO. In her time at Wunderman Thompson she made history, becoming the first ever woman to lead the agency and spearhead its global network of over 10,000 employees across 200 offices.
She joins the board of The 10 Group following a widely celebrated career in advertising, marketing and digital communications, where she held leadership positions at Grey Group, McCann Worldgroup and Saatchi and Saatchi, as well as acting as President for WPP horizontal teams. In her new role, Ingram will be working with the existing board to drive a five-year strategy of transformation where data will sit at the helm of 10’s production and innovation capabilities.
As a leading integrated marketing and communications agency, The 10 Group has undergone an unprecedented two years of growth after pivoting its content creation capability and consultancy services to enable clients to launch products virtually, drive thought leadership through content and reach global audiences through international broadcasting and livestreaming. Recent high profile client wins including Cartier, Meta, mthree and Oanda.
The new appointment serves to strengthen The 10 Group’s existing commitment to championing female leadership, with women now making up over 70% of the board.
Elaine Stern, CEO, The 10 Group says “I’m thrilled that Tam will be joining the board at The 10 Group. The incredible rate of growth we’ve seen over the past two years has shown a clear market shift, and we’re experiencing more demand for nimble, integrated marketing and communications than ever before. With Tam’s extensive experience and insight we believe we can accelerate that growth even further, and I look forward to building on our existing success together as we continue to scale internationally”.
Tamara Ingram says: “10’s unique ability to deliver integrated campaigns across digital, social, PR and content at speed and to speak to today’s digital world makes this an extremely exciting time to be joining the team. I’m delighted to be part of such an entrepreneurial business with such a strong, purpose-led ethos at its heart, and to work with Elaine and the board to continue strengthening those existing capabilities through smart application of data and human insight.”
