Maggie Sloane, editor, WAX comments:
“I have been attracted to film and loved editing since I was an adolescent. After my internship at Ntropic I discovered that I could in fact turn this hobby into a career. There are many things that I enjoy about editing, but I am most attracted to the process of solving “the puzzle”.
What makes editing even more special to me is that it’s a collaborative process. So many people made that 30 second spot possible. I’ve always felt it is way more fun solving these puzzles together.
I am thrilled to be joining the team at WAX and look forward to all the exciting projects we will embark on together. I trust the leadership, and I believe in the talent. Every day I have spent here, I’ve been welcomed and felt at home”.
Toni Lipari, founder, WAX comments:
“Maggie’s varied experience complements the team at WAX perfectly. She is able to elevate any story through editing, giving it an artistic flair and successfully adding a comedic feel to it. It is so exciting to see a woman with such a strong comedy background thriving in an incredibly male-dominated genre. We are all thrilled to have her on board.”
