Ramona Jurubiță to serve second term as Country Managing Partner, KPMG in Romania and Moldova
KPMG in Romania today announced that Ramona Jurubiță has been reelected to serve a second three-year term as Country Managing Partner of KPMG in Romania and Moldova. Ramona will continue to coordinate the firm’s activities in providing high quality Audit, Tax and Legal and Advisory services to clients. As a member of the KPMG CEE Board, she also plays a key role in developing strategy at regional level and in the coordination of multi-country projects.
A priority of Ramona’s second term will be to advance KPMG in Romania and Moldova’s Environmental Social and Governance (ESG) agenda, as set out in the firm’s ESG strategy. The strategy sets out the firm’s commitment to playing a positive role in the community and also to helping clients and the wider business community to do the same. The ESG Plan forms part of a coordinated global ESG strategy by member firms of the KPMG network and Ramona also contributes to this at regional level through her membership of the CEE Board.
Since her appointment as Country Managing Partner in 2018, KPMG in Romania and Moldova has followed a path of growth, extending its client base and range of services as well as increasing the number of its employees, in spite of the challenges of recent years. A key to the firm’s success has been its adaptability and the trust it enjoys. These qualities will continue to take KPMG in Romania and Moldova forward as it faces the new challenges of the current geopolitical and economic environments.
Ramona is closely involved in activities to support the business environment in Romania and Moldova, to promote economic growth and to improve the quality of life of the countries’citizens. She plays a leading role in the Foreign Investors Council (FIC) and has served terms as President and Vice President. She currently remains a member of the FIC Board and Vice President.

Ramona was nominated and elected as Country Managing Partner of KPMG in Romania and Moldova in 2018. She is the fourth Country Managing Partner to lead KPMG in Romania since the firm’s establishment in 1994, following François Gontard (1994-2001), Victor Kevehazi (2001-2007), and Șerban Toader (2007-2018).
