Buttermilk appoints Caner Daywood as Global Senior Social Strategist
Specialist influencer marketing agency Buttermilk has hired Caner Daywood as its new Global Senior Social Strategist. He joins from his role as Global Senior Social Media Manager (TikTok Lead) at Charlotte Tilbury, and has over 10 years of experience in omni-platform content strategy. Daywood will be responsible for steering end-to-end influencer creative strategy and overseeing multiple strategy and brand planning projects.
He is the lead creative strategic force behind new influencer work, supporting in planning, connecting and elevating content for Gen Z, with a clear focus on TikTok. He is overseeing multiple strategy and brand planning projects with a greater focus on thought leadership, developing the agency’s value proposition and cultural connections including working on Buttermilk’s ‘gold standard’ guidelines and widening its strategy offering.
Daywood has delivered international content and influencer campaigns across all major social media platforms for brands including Charlotte Tilbury, Boots, Samsung, Coca-Cola, and O2. He has executed end-to-end campaigns and has been responsible for building and running reactive content and communities to drive social media engagement, including the production of all content for Love Island 2022 across Boots’ channels.
