The Branding and Design Consultancy Carré Noir Bucharest (Publicis Groupe Romania) announces a new leadership team
Carré Noir Bucharest, the branding and design consultancy part of Publicis Groupe Romania, with 50 years of international experience and a portfolio of clients such as Dacia, City of Paris, Engie, Nescafe, designates its strategic and creative leadership for the Romanian market.
Thus, the creative leadership of the new agency will be taken over by Ionuț Coanda, Head of Design, with over 20 years of experience in coordinating design and art direction projects for local and international companies, such as Spotify, Banca Transilvania, Stup, Asahi Group, Strauss, MINA Museum, TIFF, MegaImage.
“I believe a brand has to respond directly to the time it lives in to become memorable. The branding and design principles we follow throughout the process, regardless of the brief, are: “no-nonsense design” (impact dependent on authenticity), curiosity, and continuous experimentation, doubled by a lot of practice and if you want, a rigorous hedonism. In the end, the solutions we propose are always “on brief”, but with a very high dose of unexpected.”
Strategic leadership will be provided by Maria Sarivan, Strategy and Branding Director. Maria has over 15 years of experience and a portfolio of clients from various fields of communication: banking, technology, e-commerce, culture, and entertainment.
“The current business landscape – and, implicitly, the branding landscape – is defined by infinite options and a pace of change never seen before, focused on achieving results in record time. We are building Carré Noir in Romania with the belief that the only way a brand can withstand these seismic changes is the relevance it has for people and for the culture that is part of. Thus, being constantly anchored to present social motivations and needs and responding to them directly, in real-time, is no longer nice to have, but vital.”
Diana Alexa, EVP Leo Burnett Group Romania will coordinate the management of the agency in Romania: “Carré Noir builds on the strategy and design capabilities that have defined our product in recent years, that have determined business growth for our clients and have been recognized in local and international industry competitions. This completes the diversification effort we started by launching the specialized Data Intelligence or production (Est.Now) divisions.”
Under the positioning of Brand Meaning For Today, Carré Noir Bucharest provides clients with a full range of brand strategy and positioning services, naming and brand rhetoric, brand and portfolio architecture, brand identity and graphics, brand guidelines and design strategy, products and packaging, exhibitions and creative installations, data visualization or video art direction.
On the Romanian market, the agency’s portfolio includes brand identity and visual identity works for clients such as MINA Museum, STUP, TIFF, Banca Transilvania, Ursus Breweries, and XR Month.
