Epica Awards unveils shortlists, winners to be announced on Dec. 7th
The Epica Awards announced the shortlisted entries for 2023. As agencies only enter their very best work, reaching the shortlist among so many potential winners is a major achievement. Congratulations to everyone who appears on it. We would like to thank all the agencies, production companies and clients who took part.
Over the past few days, a unique jury of editors and journalists from around the world has watched and appraised the work, delivering valuable PR exposure to the entrants. With around 200 jurors actively voting, it was one of the largest juries in our history.
These finalists go through to the next round of the jury, which takes place online from November 22 to December 1. An in-person Grand Prix jury session will take place in Brussels.
Gold and Grand Prix winners will be screened during a special online ceremony on December 7.
Silver and Bronze winners will be published on the Epica Awards website the next day, December 8.
The highest number of entries this year came from Canada (296) followed by Germany (202), France (138), the United States (126), and the United Kingdom (125). In terms of networks, Publicis, McCann Worldgroup, Dentsu, VMLY&R and Wunderman Thompson were particularly well represented.
Since 1987, the Epica Awards jury has been exclusively composed of editors and senior reporters from the world’s leading titles covering creativity and communications. They are supported by journalists from specialist fields such as post-production, design, tech, automotive and fashion.
