KUBIS’ new appointed people: Andrei Nica, Executive Creative Director, and Bianca Naumovici, Client Service Director
The independent advertising agency KUBIS has strengthened its creative and client service departments by appointing Andrei Nica as Executive Creative Director and Bianca Naumovici as Client Service Director.
The two appointments come in the context of the new 360° cultural instigators positioning, through which KUBIS aims to transform pop culture trends into surprising forms of entertainment. Thus, the agency produces creative content for the brands’ communities of interest, increasing their authenticity and relevance and, implicitly, consumer loyalty and engagement.
“Over the past four years, KUBIS has evolved significantly, transforming into an integrated communications agency, a process that involved a strategic reconfiguration and opened a new stage of development for us. In an industry where people are the most important differentiator, we have continued to invest in strengthening the team, attracting some of the most talented and respected professionals in the market. We are pleased to welcome Andrei Nica and Bianca Naumovici to the agency’s leadership team, two valuable people who share with us the same vision, passion and dedication. All, together, play an essential role in our creative mission and in the commitment we make in our relationships with our customers and partners,” said Talida Cristea, Managing Director of KUBIS.
Before KUBIS, Andrei Nica was part of the Leo Burnett team first as Group Creative Director and then as Deputy Creative Director, a position in which he coordinated the Samsung, Pepsi, Bringo, Fashion Days and Spotify accounts. Andrei started his career at Momentum and Saatchi & Saatchi, then at Graffiti BBDO, where he held the positions of Copywriter and Group Creative Director on accounts such as Ursus, Dacia, Rompetrol, P&G, Toyota or Chio Chips.
“Almost my entire career I worked in network agencies that were part of large communication groups, with many procedures and complex infrastructure behind them, so I was curious about how things happen in an independent agency. We chose KUBIS because it is a playground where you can experience more, freer and more adapted to the increasingly dizzying speed with which things unfold around us,” said Andrei Nica, Executive Creative Director of KUBIS.
Bianca Naumovici started her career in the industry early and has worked for both network agencies and independent and PR agencies.
In parallel, she had collaborations in fashion, both as a stylist and a collaborator for local fashion magazines such as A List, an experience that helped her create contacts with the artistic environment. In her most recent role, she led a digital content production division for local and regional accounts, developing unconventional production solutions.
Experiencing several valences of the creative environment, whether advertising, publishing or fashion, have given him a unique perspective in approaching projects, especially by finding suitable creative solutions in the successful implementation of campaigns.
“My main goal is for all our clients to find in us not only support for their integrated campaigns, but also creative and logistical support for outstanding special projects. The positioning of 360° cultural instigators is the umbrella under which we calibrate our creative proposals, a fresh and assumedly daring approach. Our clients and the brands they manage are certainly on board with this vision, isn’t that what everyone wants: to get out of the cluster? Internally, an agile team and a roster of suppliers and collaborators are being formed that understand this new vision and the need for adaptability to new formats, new environments and ideas with edge,” said Bianca Naumovici, KUBIS Client Service Director.
In an AdMarket survey conducted by UAPR in 2021, KUBIS was one of the first independent agencies named as the top preference of companies to participate in pitches for integrated creative and strategy projects.
