The IAB MIXX Awards Romania, digital communication competition, announces its 13th edition, scheduled to take place in March 2025 (aligning with the international calendar and creating a bridge to the prestigious IAB MIXX Awards Europe in July) and introducing 2 new categories: Connected TV Advertising and Retail Media.

“The decision to move the IAB MIXX Awards Romania to March 2025 is a strategic step designed to synchronize our competition with the international timeline and prepare participants for IAB MIXX Europe,” said Alexa Constantinescu, Communications Director of IAB MIXX Awards Romania. “Spring is not just less busy for marketing professionals, giving them extra time to develop impactful case studies, but it also symbolizes a fresh start—an ideal moment to celebrate creativity, innovation, and excellence in digital marketing.”

“Staying connected to the dynamic nature of the digital communication market is essential to the IAB MIXX Awards spirit. This year, we’ve identified trends that can’t be ignored. The introduction of the two new categories—CTV and Retail Media—is a natural and necessary step to create more opportunities for agencies to enter their most relevant campaigns,” said Doina Radicof, Partnerships Director of IAB MIXX Awards Romania.

The competition opens for submissions on January 13, 2025, with the awards gala planned for mid-March. Eligible campaigns must have been implemented between December 2023 and March 2025.
