AdPrint Festival 2012 announced the jury of Advertising Angels, that will be headed by Al Moseley – Executive Creative Director 180 Amsterdam.

AdPrint includes, this year, 2 complementary competitions: Advertising Angels and Design Angels. The structure of the entire competition was remade and reorganized in order to award a larger range of executions, including Print, Out Of Home (billboard, poster, ambient) and Graphic Design (branding, logo, packaging, collaterals, POP and in store).

The works entered for the 2 competitions will be judged according to the same creativity standards by 2 specialized juries, that will follow specific criteria

Al Moseley is Executive Creative Director 180 Amsterdam where he is in charge with managing the creative department and clients such as Sony PlayStation, Asics, Western Union and  DHL.

180 is not just a simple name, it is a philosophy. We like to analyze client’s problem on all the sides and approach it from multiple points of view, and this allows us to find fresh solutions, completely original and efficient ones. We call that an 180 approach

Al Moseley

Previos to 180, he was creative director at Wieden & Kennedy Amsterdam, where he work for clients like Coca-Cola and Nike, and to Mother London, where he signed campaigns for Orange and Boots. Besides numerous corporate clients, Al was the one that made the launch campaign of Tropical Forests Project for His Royal Highness Prince of Wales.

He already was awarded the majority of the relevant international accolades and was part of the most important competitions in the industry.

His judging partner is Galen Graham – Creative Director 180 Amsterdam, one of the most recent acquisitions of the agency, that joined the team in 2010. He has background as Art Director and now is the Creative Director on the PlayStation account, being also in charge of new business for 180. He came to 180 Amsterdam from DDB Chicago, where he was supervising accounts among which Budweiser, Bud Light and McDonalds.

Graham received numerous awards in competitions such as Cannes, D&AD, One Show, AICP, Clio, CA and  Emmy.

The jury is completed by 5 juror teams and Michael Weinzettl – Publisher & Editor-in-chief Lürzer’s Archive, that supported AdPrint during the previous couple years.

The other judging teams are:

Michael Weinzettl is in Lürzer’s Archive team for 28 years and, along the time, he was member in juries of many advertising competition, among which  EPICA Awards.

AdPrint Festival is the only European festival that exclusively awards Print, Out of Home, Graphic Design.  The strategic partners of the festival are Lürzer’s Archive, Art Directors Club of Europe (ADC*E), Carioca and EACA (European Association of Communication Agencies).
