IAB Romania organizes Digital Publishing & Advertising Day 2012
IAB Romania, together with Agora and Zitec, organizes Digital Publishing & Advertising Day 2012, on April 27th, at Intercontinental Hotel in Bucharest. This is the 2nd edition of the only event in Romania dedicated to publishers and that will discuss matters related to publishing technologies, tools and platforms, trends & innovation, editorial and content strategy, advertising and monetization.
After the 1st edition, DPAD 2012 aims to offer relevant information to online publishing market and to support, this way, the development of the entire industry, by providing know-how, technology and inspiration.
Through this event, we want to give as many ideas and solutions for online publishing’s development. No matter we talk about platforms, instruments or know-how, successful examples or challenges the publishers must be aware of , we want, with DPAD 2012, to bring face to face this category of online industry and Romanian and foreign specialists so the latest could provide answers to questions, but also knowledge and ideas to help creating better development strategies for Romanian online publishing
Ioana Anescu
Managing Director IAB Romania
DPAD 2012 aims to bring together over 120 top representatives from sectors such as publishing, advertising, PR, web development and social media agencies. Among the speakers that will be present at the event there are Alexandru Iosef (Managing Partner Imedia), Ionel Naftanaila (OBA Project Manager IAB Europe), Alex Lapusan (CEO Zitec), Iulian Comanescu (Managing Partner Comanescu), Jakub Oleksy (Country Manager Poland & CEE SmartAdServer) and Andrei Brad (Marketing and New Business Director – SimPlus).
We are still in a difficult period for publishers and this makes even more needed efficient platforms and technical solutions, preferably with no licencing fees and with minimal operational costs. DPAD 2012 will also cover this subject, therefor we expect everybody interested in efficient and, why not, innovative solutions
Alex Lapusnean
CEO Zitec
Romulus Maier, President Agora, also considers that publishing is at a cross-roads.
What road to chose as long as those roads aren’t safe and verified? What strategy to implement on the new and very fragmented online market? What will matter most in the future; content, technology or a mix of those? How to efficiently monetize what you produce?…these are just a few questions we hope to get at least some answer during DPAD 2012. We’re expecting you to be active actors in this process
Romuls Maier
The access fee for the event is Euro 10 and can be paid via SMS. More details on DPAD 2012 are available on event’s website.
