Slightly modified, Bucharest’s coat of arms was renewed with Euro100,000
Bucharest could modify its coat of arms, replacing one saint with another, following a study realized at Bucharest City Hall request in order to create a city brand, HotNews.ro and B365 are writing.
The same study also proposes a new slogan for Romanian capital, “Bucharest – where past meets future”, with the new slogan being chosen, according to quoted sources, based on reactions from Bucharest’s citizens. The slogan was chosen based on reaction received from Bucharest citizens that participated to 24 focus groups during the research. The same study also designated the representative buildings for Bucharest: Parliament’s Palace, Romanian Atheneum and Triumph Arc .
According to B365, the company that made the study was Scutaru Consulting SRL. The new Bucharest branding initiative was also the subject of a news on Prima TV.
