AdPrint 2012: 575 entries in competition

59 advertising agencies in 20 countries are competing this year at the 2 competition within AdPrint festival: Advertising and Design Angels. The agencies entered in contest a total of 575 works.

The winners will be announced during AdPrint party, to take place on June 13th, at Energiea club in Bucharest; the winners will also be available on festival’s website.

The Gala&Party scheduled for June 13th is organized by The Institute, in partnership with Grolsch.

After the announcement of the winners and of the best works of the year that passed, the participants will assist to a Les Elephants Bizarres concert. Afterwards, they can participate to a workshop of printing techniques and book binding to be held by Razvan Supuran. In the event location will also be organized an exhibition of Old Romanian Commercials.

The winning works will be included in an exhibition hosted by MNAR (Romanian National Art Museum in Bucharest), between July 1st-30th, and in the next edition of Lürzer’s Archive.

Starting this edition, the organizers introduced the Design Angels competition, awarding works in sections such as: Branding Schemes-Corporate Identity, Logos, Packaging, POP & In Stores, Collaterals (Direct Mail, Others), Publishing Design & Movie Poster (Magazine Cover, Inserts & Wraps for Press, Book Cover, Movie Poster), Design Crafts Competition (Photography, Illustration, Typography), but also Design Best Individuals Competition (Best Photographer, Best Illustrator, Best Typographer).
