Sweden opened an embassy in Second Life

Always in the avant-garde, Sweden decided to open an embassy in Second Life, aiming to increase the popularity of the country among young people all over the world.

According to Der Spiegel, Stockholm decided to inaugurate the embassy in Second Life in order to promote the country.

The virtual embassy will offer info about Sweden’s culture and history and advices for tourists, including related to visa rules.

The Second Life Swedish embassy is handled by The Swedish Institute, part of Sweden’s Foreign Ministry.
