Dinu Patriciu and Ion Ţiriac, in the Forbes’ “Richest East Europeans People” top

Dinu Patriciu entered for the first time in the Richest East European 16 People ranking made by Forbes, on the 10th position, with a personal fortune of $ 2.5bn, ahead of Ion Ţiriac, ranked 14, with a personal fortune of $1.2bn.

Patriciu entered the top after he sold his controlling actions package from Rompetrol to KazMunaiGaz Kazahstan. Rompetrol Group was valued at $3.6 bn, so that the value of the participation KazMunaiGas took over was of $2.7 bn.
