Changes in Bitdefender Romania’s management

Bitdefender Romania announced changes in its management, with Valentin Jurcut taking over the management of company’s commercial operations in Romania and the coordination of company’s relationship with local partners, business segment, but also with the individual consumers.

Previous to the new position, Jurcut was General Manager Support and Services at Bitdefender. Starting June 1st 2012, he took over as Enterprise Sales Ad Services Director for Central and Eastern Europe. He has over 15 years of commercial experience in financial services, telecom and IT.

Romania is a very important market for Bitdefender, not from dimension’s point of view, but more because of the opportunities and potential. Nowadays trend is virtualizing work environments and new tech will give the start for significant investments in the sectors of big companies and governmental area. The solutions for virtualized mediums will change completely the work patterns, offering significant efficiency when it comes of operational costs. Bitdefender has the most complex offer of security solutions for virtual environments and we aim to consolidate our position in this area

Razvan Valceanu, that headed Bitdefender’s local operations  during the last 5 years, will take over Bitdefender business on individual and small and medium entreprises segment for Central and Eastern Europe, Turkey and Israel.
