Five Romanians finished EACA’s European Advertising Certificate course
Five Romanians working in advertising are among the ones that finish European Advertising Certificate course, organized by EACA and promoted in Romania by Romanian Advertising Agencies Association (UAPR)
They are Elena Pomarac – Publicis Bucharest, Anne-Marie Obretin – Saatchi & Saatchi Bucharest, Mihai Titirig and Sorina Dumbrava – I. M. Smite and Cozmin Amariei – Draftfcb Bucharest.
The online course lasted around 30 hours, was free and targeted non-experienced employees in advertising agencies members of EACA. The program offered basis knowledge to the participants so they could understand better advertising and the way in which communication campaigns are developed. First edition of the course took place in January-April 2012 and had 815 registered students from 32 countries. The students attended 6 modules, each followed by tests and online discussions on study themes.
At the end of the course, the participants were able to give a written exam, on April 19th. The exam took place simultaneously in 25 countries in Europe and Middle East and the ones that passed will receive a diploma attesting they attended and promoted the course. The exam tax was of Euro 220.
Dominic Lyle, EACA General Manager, said that the results of the 1st edition of European Advertising Certificate are very good, considering the high graduation rate, while the feedback received from the 1st series of participants was positive and constructive.
EACA already started preparing the 2nd edition of the program. Interested people can enroll starting October 2012, with the exam scheduled for February 23, 2013.
