62% of Romanians believe mass media are independent in Romania

According to a survey quoted by Mediafax News Agency, three in five Romanians believe mass media in Romania are independent.

This way, 62% say mass media in Romania are independent, while 31% believe the contrary. Also, 69% believe mass media in Romania serve people’s interests, while 27% are of opposite opinion.

The survey also found out that 71% have as main source of information the TV, 13% – Internet, 9% – printed media and 6% – radio.
