URBB – multiple awarded at Green Business Index Gala 2012

United Romanian Breweries Bereprod (URBB) was awarded at Green Business Index 2012 gala, that tool place in November. URBB was nominated in a few categories and received two 1st prizes for “Wastes Management” and “Sustainable Development” and a 2nd place in the top of most environment responsible companies. Also, the company received recognition also for “Sustainable transport”, “Environment Impact” and “Resource management”.

URBB is mobilizing each year its employees in voluntarism programs ran under “Green Umbrella”  and “Romania’s Green Capital”. Besides the employees, we were joined in our actions by partners, consumers and representatives of local and central authorities, with the total number of volunteers reaching to couple hundred people. URBB is one of the most important drinks producers on the local market, present on beer, soft drinks and mineral water markets. Company’s portfolio includes exclusively premium brands such as the beers Tuborg, Carlsberg, Skol, Holsten, Guinness şi Kilkenny, Granini as soft drink and Bilbor – mineral water.
