Nir Refuah is the new General Manager MRM Romania, digital division of McCann Worldgroup Romania
Nir Refuah, former VP Creative McCann Digital Tel Aviv, joined McCann Worldgroup Romania as General Manager MRM Romania, the digital division of the communication group.
Nir has over 15 years of experience in advertising, is founder& CEO Othello, the 1st social network in Israel, dedicated to journalists and artists, and was editor in chief of Tapuz and Head of Content Development Walla Communications.
Starting 2008, Nir was VP Creative McCann Digital Tel Aviv, contributing to the development of digital advertising and social media interaction strategies for the brands in agency’s portfolio.
During his career, he won over 30 trophies to the most important international advertising festivals, such as Cresta Awards, Golden Drum, London International Awards, New York Festivals, Epica, Eurobest, One Show and many others.
As GM of MRM Romania, Nir will coordinate a 30 people strong team and work with clients such as Coca-Cola (Coca-Cola, Coca-Cola Zero, Fanta, Sprite, Nestea, Dorna, Burn, Cappy), KFC, Pizza Hut, MasterCard, Nutline, Doncafe, Kandia (Kandia, ROM, Magura).
I’m very happy to be now part of Romanian advertising industry. For me, digital is the most interesting medium, nobody fell asleep browsing the internet, isn’t it? My objective in Romania is to help digital market and McCann and MRM clients to pass from an adaptation and online banners world to digital brand building and storytelling (…)
