BitDefender’s CEO to open a new events series at TechHub Bucharest

Florin Talpes, Bitdefender CEO, is the business personality that will open a new series of events at TechHub Bucharest, Tech Excellence.

Florin Talpes is one of the most respected entrepreneurs in Romania, bearing the incredible experience of building Bitdefender, the company that produces one of the highest performing security solutions in the industry, on a global level, and the most well known Romanian IT brand.

In 1990, along with his wife, Mariuca, Florin Talpes founded Softwin, an important software solutions and services provider in Romania. Founded in 2011, Bitdefender is now a company whose products are internationally distributed through a network of proprietary partners in over 100 countries. Being one of the Romanian software industry’s pioneers, Florin Talpes was also the founder of ANIS (Employers’ Association of the Software and Services Industry). As President, he led the efforts to develop a national strategy for software and services in Romania.
