DDB Bucharest’s Managing Director and Creative Director leave the agency

Mirela Angelescu, Managing Director at DDB Bucharest since June 2008, and Theodor Sandu, Creative Director of the agency from almost the same time, end their work relation with DDB Bucharest starting December 31st. The declared reason is they intend to take a period of time to fulfill an older plan, to travel across the world

Mirela’s duties at DDB will be assumed by Angelos Coursoumis, CEO, while the creative coordination of the agency will go to Corina Bacanu, Head of Copy since October 2008.

This announcement comes a short time after DDB Bucharest lost the McDonald’s creative account for Romania, that went to TBWA.
