Red Tettemer O’Connell + Partners rallies dads in a campaign for The Dockers
The indie creative agency Red Tettemer O’Connell + Partners launched a new spot for Father’s Day for The Dockers brand. The ad features former professional football coach Jon Gruden and it’s launching together with another spot called “Stop Dad Pants”, featuring professional football coach, John Harbaugh and his wife Sarah.
In a digital short debuting, Jon Gruden delivers a rousing locker room speech to dads everywhere during which he alludes to the pains and gains of fatherhood, from exhaustion, to confusion, to getting caught sporting “Dad Pants”. Gruden encourages dads to “make this whole dad thing look good” with new, streamlined Dockers designs.
“Locker Room” addresses a serious condition affecting countless American men – Dad Pants, acutely identified by shapeless, billowing pants that transform casual wear into casualties. Gruden encourages men to work together and make this Dad thing look good.
Released on Wednesday, June 11th, the digital video is be supported with digital media plus regional cable TV, cinema and radio.
