Golden Drum to beat the drum for a change in 2014
Golden Drum, festival that reached its 21st edition, prepares for this year’s edition with interesting lectures and a program of events especially tailored for young talents. Slovenian Advertising Chamber, organizer of the Golden Drum Festival, DDB Budapest and Global Development, catalyst for developing new global partnerships for sustainable development, are aware that young creatives are a goldmine of engaging ideas, and that is the reason why they ask them to create ideas that make a change within advertising industry or, otherwise said, Beat the Drum for Change, competition in which they can submit video cases or presentation by September 19th.
Global Development – Advising the Leaders is looking for an activation idea which will raise the awareness of Global Education (help young people to be more conscious about the increasingly complex relationships of common social, ecological, political and economic issues so they can actively shape their future in the present). The ideas can be submitted as video cases or presentations (no longer than 10 pages). The entries in the competition can be complex campaigns, digital/social media activations, print/poster campaigns or just one-off events or stunt ideas with a big PR-potential. The brief is available here and the participants must be born after October 10th 1984 and originate from countries of New Europe.
The winner of the competition will spend a long weekend in Berlin and Eric Schaeffer, CCO of DDB Group Germany, will make sure that it will be a truly exciting and inspiring visit. The second and third ranked within the competition will receive free full registrations for the Golden Drum Festival 2014.
