Alina Damaschin to judge PR at Cannes Lions 2017
Alina Damaschin, Creative Leader / Managing Partner Rogalski Damaschin Public Relations, is representing Romania in this year’s Cannes PR Jurty.
In 2017, Romania received access to more judging categories for shortlists evaluations, but PR is the only section where we have in jury a representative that will decide the winners. On the list of Romanian professionals proposed to join the PR jury were also Cohn & Jansen and Geometry Global, both agencies who scooped Gold in this category during the last 2 years. I recommended Alina Damaschin not only for an exceptional career achieved both in classical advertising and creative PR, but also for the results of the agency she represents, such is the Gold from Lions Entertainment in 2016, for a case where they handled the creative PR part

Ambassador Cannes Lions Romania
It is the second time in agency’s existence when one of its representatives is invited to judge in Cannes Lions, after Eliza Rogalski was, in 2009, the first Romanian juror in Cannes Lions.
Cannes Lions represents the 0 point of global creativity, which continues to inspire generations of professionals for 63 years. In my 19 years of career, I’ve always anxiously waited June, when the festival takes place, I’ve followed the trends discussed there, I’ve admired or criticized winning campaigns, I tried to learn something new with every edition. In 2017, the learning experience continues from the juror position. It is an unique privilege and a double one: to be able to speak about the standards of the Romanian creativity to an international jury with undisputed professional authority and to bring home valuable lessons
