Changes inside Realitatea

Stelian Tanase refused to be the general manager of Realitatea TV, Romanian news TV station, while Petru Berteanu will take over as content manager of Realitatea.net, reporting directly to Sorin Enache, general manager Realitatea Media.

About refusing the management of Realitatea TV, Stelian Tănase said he considered himself not fitted for the job, also because he has different opinions compared to the ones of the management.

Tanase’s statement comes 4 months after Realitatea Media announced he will be the general manager of the news TV station.

On the other hand, Petru Berteanu was appointed content manager of Realitatea.net, news portal activating in the same group with Realitatea TV.

He will start his new job on January 15th, reporting directly to Sorin Enache, general director Realitatea Media, and will be responsible for the editorial strategy of the news portal, for the acceleration of the online-offline team collaboration and a better integration with Realitatea TV and Realitatea FM.

The opinion and comments platforms of the portal are not affected by this change, keeping their management: VoxPublica coordinated by Costi Rogozanu, Pandora’s – by Alexandra Badicioiu-Matei and SportVox – by Ionel Lespuc.

Costin Ilie, ex-content manager online of group’s websites, becomes content development manager for the online structure inside Realitatea Media, administrating also the strategic partnerships in online and other projects.
