IKEA appointed Sara Del Fabbro as CEO for South East Europe

IKEA South East Europe announced Sara Del Fabbro is the new CEO the company has at regional level. Sara answers to Belen Frau – Global Deputy Retail Operations Manager Ingka Group, headquartered in Malmo, Sweden.

Sara works for IKEA for a long time. Starting 1999, she worked in the Bologna store and Service Office, where she had several senior jobs. In 2014, she became Deputy Store Manager in the Torino store and, 2 years later, took over the management of the Milano San Giuliano store. In September 2017, Sara became Deputy CEO IKEA Italy.

With the new management, IKEA South East Europe remains dedicated to continuing its success operations and follow the expansion calendar, which includes new formats that will allow the company to be closer to its clients in Romania, Croatia, Serbia, Slovenia and Ukraine.

Stefan Vanoverbeke, previously CEO for IKEA in the region, accepted a new challenge within the company and became, in April, Global Deputy Retail Operations Manager Ingka Group for 10 international markets
