Gecad Venture’s founder, Radu Georgescu, joins SeedBlink’s board

Radu Georgescu, serial entrepreneur and founder Gecad Ventures, becomes partner and member in the board of SeedBlink, the biggest platform of Equity Crowdfunding in the region. At the moment, SeedBlink’s board includes Andrei Dudoiu, Ionuț Pătrăhău, Iulian Pădurariu, Carmen Sebe and Radu Georgescu.

The equity crowdfunding platform managed, in December, a record financing of Euro 157,000 in just 17 days, although its listing was announced for 2 months. Until now, over 400 investors registred on the platform.

Seedblink has in preparation two imminent listings, and the plans of the team joined by Georgescu are to bring in front of the investors in the region at least 200 companies within the next 2 years.

In the perspective of approaching at European level of the directive regulating the alternative financing as equity crowdfunding, the licensed platforms in one of the member states will be able to activate in any of the member countries

Seedblink is the biggest equity crowdfunding in Romania. It allows all interested to become angel investors in dynamic startups. SeedBlink was founded by the former bankers Andrei Dudoiu and Ionuț Patrahau, together with the entrepreneur Iulian Padurariu. The equity crowdfunding model implemented by SeedBlink shows traction, seeing that there is a huge unexploited investments potential and an innovation potential that needs financing .
