Cresta Awards, committed to run as normal during Covid19 crisis
Cresta says it is in a good position to run its creative awards as normal during the coronavirus pandemic sweeping the world.
“Our team members are all working remotely to help entrants at this difficult time, and with our judging done via a sophisticated online system, we are committed to delivering a first class awards as usual. “
Alan Page,
President of Cresta
In the last few days, Cresta has launched a ‘Business as Unusual’ campaign to reassure entrants around the world and make the point that as and when the crisis subsides the world will need the industry’s creativity more than ever.
“Many agencies, studios and production companies are undoubtedly having a tough time right now, worried about the health of their staff as well as the future of their businesses. But when we come out of this (…) it’s vital that the creative industry is able to demonstrate the power of its creativity.”
Alan Page
Cresta is able to run normally because there is no travel involved for either judges or winners, and judges work independently awarding points online. Even a judge in self-isolation could continue to participate as normal.
“As clients eventually seek to rebuild their own businesses following this unprecedented health crisis, we are determined to do our bit to support and promote the creative industry.” said Lewis Blackwell, “And we can start by delivering our awards on schedule with a great jury and some brilliant creative work.”
Cresta is open for entries now and Early Bird discounts continue until 28 March.
