Mr Jeff’s First Branch Opened in Bucharest

As part of an expansion plan in EMEA and already with a huge presence in Latin America  and Asia, Mr Jeff enters the Romanian market offering its laundry and dry cleaning service with 3 locations in Bucharest.

Spanish laundry and dry cleaning application Mr Jeff’s first branch was opened in Bucharest  in Romania, Tineretului. Mr Jeff, who has more than 2000 franchise branches in more than 40 countries around the world, aims to provide employment to hundreds of people by aiming to reach over 50 branches throughout the country by the end of the year.

Mr Jeff will launch 3 franchises throughout Bucharest in the space of one week, locations including; Tineretului Piscului, Aviației Măcelariu and Gara de Nord Witting. Eloi Gómez Cal, CEO of Mr Jeff, indicated that:

We provide support to our partners in order to make them reach their objective via our team which comprises more than 500 professionals. We also create indirect employment for more than 3.500 people through our 2000 franchise branches all over the world.”

With profiles for every customer type, young people short on time are among Mr Jeff’s most loyal customers around the world. By using the app, customers can choose the exact location, time and day of pickup; a driver visits the user’s house and collects the garments and they are delivered back, cleaned and ironed. With the new technological approach to the laundry and dry cleaning sector, Mr Jeff aims to create a new era of laundry and ironing services for Romania´s young population.

Measures for preventing the spread of COVID-19

During this period, Jeff’s priority is the safety of its clients, therefore special measures are implemented regarding the process of washing and caring for clothes, so as to minimize the risks of COVID-19 spreading: 1. All Jeff personnel use face masks and protective gloves. 2. We disinfect all workstations, after each service. 3. We apply a longer drying cycle, to reinforce the disinfection process 4. We make contactless delivery, respecting the safety distance. 5. Customers can keep using our services without leaving their home.

Jeff is a company founded in 2015 by Eloi Gómez, Adrián Lorenzo and Rubén Muñoz, three Spanish entrepreneurs. The company began as a washing and ironing home delivery service but is currently in the process of expanding. As well as offering laundry services, Jeff will also offer hairdressing services and beauty treatments which can be accessed via the app and website. Fitness services and relax services will soon be added to the platform. The app is available on Android and iOS devices and offers a network of franchises which are completely changing traditional business models.
