ADCE Awards launched the 2023 edition’s call for entries
The 2023’s edition of the Art Directors Club of Europe (ADCE) Best of European Design and Advertising Awards is open for entries. The ADCE Awards is the only award system that brings together the best of European award-winning work under the same competition. Because of this, participation in the ADCE Awards is exclusively given to works that have been recognized at a national level, offering them international visibility and promotion.
Winners of ADCE-affiliated national clubs competitions are eligible to participate under advantageous conditions: free entry for Gold Award winners, and reduced entry fee for Silver, Bronze and/or Shortlist. To support the Ukrainian creative industry in these difficult times, this year, all Ukrainian entries will enter for half the price.
The final registration deadline to submit works is October 6th. A jury made up of prominent and international leading creatives and designers from all over Europe will meet in Barcelona on 9-10th of November, at the Design Hub premises. They will be in charge of deliberating upon this year’s award winners, which will be announced on the 1st of December at the ADCE Festival’s Winners Gala Ceremony, in Barcelona.
After its recent merger with the global The One Club for Creativity, the ADCE will be able to grow and promote European creativity beyond the continent, bringing various benefits to its community including all ADCE Awards winners.
For the first time, all ADCE laureates will be incorporated into The One Club’s Global Creative Rankings, making it the industry’s foremost global ranking of agencies, brands, work, and creative professionals.
The Global Creative Rankings will now combine points from The One Show, global ADC Annual Awards, ONE Asia Creative Awards, The One Club US chapter awards, Type Directors Club TDC competitions and ADCE Awards. Points accrued by ADCE Awards winners will gain them visibility and prestige around the world, and also now will count towards global totals for network and holding company rankings.
ADCE’s annual European Creativity Festival is back in person, scheduled to take place at Barcelona’s Design Hub from November 30th to December 1st.
This prominent event is set to bring together a wide variety of professionals representing diverse fields, united by their sustained dedication to sparking change and cultivating innovation through creativity. The festival serves as a common space for Europe’s creative community to come together, gain inspiration, and participate in the exchange of invaluable experiences.
This year, ADCE presents a compelling theme: “Agents of Change”, and will feature a lineup of conferences, immersive workshops, exhibits, and networking spaces devised to celebrate design and new creative solutions.
The Festival will culminate with the Awards Gala Ceremony on Friday 1st December where the entire creative community will celebrate the best in European graphic design and communication creativity of the year.
ADCE is the platform that allows its creative community to unite, interact, foster, explore, promote and celebrate creativity as a multi-solution approach. ADCE brings creatives together in Europe and beyond through its annual awards, events, educational programs, and publications. Internationally recognized as an authoritative voice, ADCE represents the best of local European advertising and design in an increasingly globalized market. ADCE believes that only being a diverse, connected, and collaborative European creative community we’ll be able to solve the complex problems.
