Adrian Botan, juror at RedApple in Moscow
Adrian Botan, Regional Creative Director for McCann Erickson in Central and Eastern Europe, is member in the International Jury at RedApple international advertising festival that takes place in Moscow on September 29th and 30th.
The winners of this year’s edition of the festival will be selected in 2 stages: an online jury will estimate all the works and select the ones to be present on the shortlist, while an International Jury will choose the winners.
Adrian Botan is the Romania’s advertising industry representative in this jury. Botan is Regional Creative Director for McCann Erickson in Central and Eastern Europe and Creative Partner of Bucharest office, founder member and President of Romanian Art Directors Club. In 2010 Adrian had completed an MBA degree in the Berlin School of Creative Leadership.
In 2011, McCann Erickson Romania became the first ever agency in Central and Eastern Europe to take home two Grand Prix and Titanium in Cannes Lions Festival for the campaign “American Takeover” for ROM Chocolate.
Botan has experience in working with clients such as companies from FMCG to retail and telecom, local and international brands like Coca-Cola, Sprite, and Vodafone.
Adrian Botan started in advertising in 1995, as a designer in a Romanian creative shop, than moved, in 1997, to DMB&B (later to become D’Arcy). He joined McCann Erickson in 1998 and, in 11 years since he is creative director, his team won over 150 awards for creativity and effectiveness in competitions spanning from New York Festivals to Cannes and Epica or Eurobest.

Red Apple, Moscow International Advertising and Marketing Festival, is an unique event in Russia of international level in marcomm industry. Over 5,000 thousand people from 30 countries of the world attend the Festival every year.
